Ordering
There are two ways to order a bike from me.
If you want a standard bike or trike then just click its particular page in the shop, select which options you want and order it. I’ll then send you an invoice for the 20% deposit. Your bike build will then be booked into the fabrication schedule and I’ll let you know when it will be ready plus confirm any small details that may be required.
If you require a custom bike then drop me an email, specifying what you require. Its really helpful if you can send a couple photos or sketches of what you have in mind. I will then confirm any extra information I require and send you a full quotation for your consideration. When we are both in agreement about the bike specification and price, payment will be requested and a fabrication slot booked in.
Payment can be made by Paypal cheque, BACS or cash. Please email for details if you wish to pay using these methods.
The shop is set to only accept orders to address’ within United Kingdom. If you wish to order from overseas, please email me for details and shipping quotes.
Delivery
The tricycles are delivered by national freight companies. To keep the delivery cost as low as possible, the trikes are usually sent vertically with the longer trikes sent with their rear wheel removed. I can send the trikes fully assembled but there is a surcharge of £100 to cover the extra space that it takes up on the delivery lorry.
The cost of delivery within the mainland UK is automatically calculated when you enter your postcode on the shopping basket order form. It will give you a price before you commit to buy the bike.
The shipping calculator is based upon the price per bike or trike. If you wish to order more than one bike please contact me first as I normally can give a discount on shipping for bulk deliveries.
I welcome customers who live outside of the UK Mainland. The furthest delivery to date has been 11,000 miles to Tasmania and the most remote was to South Georgia Island for the British Antarctic Survey.
I can arrange delivery to UK or Europe.
If you require delivery outside Europe the order will be ‘ex works’ which means either you arrange for collection from my workshop or I can deliver to your freight forwarder in Europe.
Please email before ordering if you are outside the UK mainland to discuss the best option for your trike and its delivery. Please note that some of these trikes are large and as the delivery price is calculated on a volume rate, it can be expensive. I can fabricate the trike so that it can be sent flat packed, This is cheaper for you but it does require some final assembly after unpacking it.
